Aquatics Programs

Across the country, people are running to their nearest pools and waterfronts to cool off, get active and have fun. We are dedicated to operating three community pools, hiring lifeguards and preparing fun and relaxing programs.

Our indoor pools provide year round aquatics programs and aqua fitness classes  for youth and adults. Summer marks the beginning of warm days relaxing on the pool deck, pool parties, and swim teams.

Aquatics Facilities and Pool Schedules

Check our pool schedules below for lap, open and senior swim times. If you’d prefer, sign up for learn-to-swim classes, deep water exercise classes, and aquatic exercise and movement programs.

Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation’s Homestead Aquatic Center will be closed Feb. 10-23 for repairs and routine maintenance. Pass holders may use the Community Center pool or several other local aquatic facilities

The community center pool is currently CLOSED for pool maintenance due to water clarity and will remain closed for the remainder of 2/19. We hope to have an update tomorrow morning with an anticipated opening time. Thank you for your patience.
